You see a gold temple.
Tick.
Hello stranger. My name is Mr Griffiths. You have opened this book and looked at this page and these words printed on it, and you have looked through this page and through these words and seen a gold temple. You are seeing it again now. What does the gold temple look like? What size is it? What shape is it? The more you look at it the more detail you see.
Tock.
You leave your physical body and fly through these words towards the gold temple.
Tick.
Where is the gold temple? You turn around and look back through these words at your physical body outside of this book. Is the gold temple inside you? You re-enter your body but do not possess it. You are a prospector looking for gold. You fly around your brain, moving through the labyrinthine grey matter, searching both hemispheres, but you find no gold. You fly down your optic nerve and search the interior of each of your eyeballs that are continuing to look through these words but you find no gold. You fly back along your optic nerve, pass down through your brain, into your jugular and slide down through the vein, immersed in your own blood. You emerge inside your heart. Red flesh walls pulsate around you. The beating is deafening. There is no gold to be seen in either ventricle so you enter an artery and slide through the rest of your veins. You find no gold. You fly into your windpipe and look down the red tunnel to the junction that leads to your lungs. You take the left tunnel and enter your left lung. The narrowing tunnel splits in many directions. The more you explore the lung’s intricate interior the more difficult it becomes for me to control your decision as to which path you take without spending the rest of this book describing your route so I shall simply say that you search the whole of your left lung then the whole of your right lung but find no gold. You search your kidneys, your spleen, your liver and your appendix but still find no gold. You search your muscles, your nerves and the interior of your skin. No gold. You enter your stomach where your last meal is being digested. No gold. You enter your bowels, give their contents a cursory glance then quickly leave. Definitely no gold. You enter your spine and travel through the vertebrae, moving through bone. No gold. You fly all around your skeleton, inside your pelvis, your hips, your ribs, your skull. No gold.
Now you expand to fill the whole of your physical body until you possess it. You look through these words. You see the gold temple. Is the gold temple inside this book? Give this book a shake and see if the gold temple falls out.
You look through these words and again see the gold temple. You are seeing inside yourself but you are not seeing your flesh or your blood or your bones, you are seeing a gold temple. You are seeing inside this book but you are not seeing ink and paper, you are seeing a gold temple.
Inside the gold temple is an infinite place where anything is possible. I am going to guide you around the gold temple’s contents.
On the count of three you will be inside the gold temple. One. Two. Three.
